Project Name: Jinshan New Town Site Construction
Place of implementation: Shanghai, Jinshan District, Block JSC1-0401, Section 1-03B-01
Equipment used: Zoomlion ZE750DH + VIBRA FV-700
Project Description
A Zoomlion ZE750DH excavator equipped with a VIBRA FV-700 hydraulic vibrator was deployed to install U-shaped reinforced concrete sheet piles in the Jinshan New Urban Area (Shanghai).
The project used sheet pile elements 1 meter wide, 15 meters long and weighing approximately 10 tons each, which placed extremely high demands on the base machine's lifting capacity, equipment stability and immersion efficiency.
Particularly difficult were the weak soils with low bearing capacity characteristic of this area. With a powerful centrifugal force of 915kN, the FV-700 hydraulic vibratory pile driver combined with the superior power and stability of the ZE750DH excavator successfully overcome the challenges posed by the heavy dead weight of reinforced concrete sheet piles.
The equipment ensured stable and efficient driving of piles, fully satisfying the project requirements in terms of work completion time and construction quality.
Key advantages of the project
Driving reinforced concrete sheet piles weighing up to 10 tons;
High centrifugal force of the vibrating hammer - 915 kN;
Effective work in conditions of weak and water-saturated soils;
High stability of the equipment when working with heavy piles;
Reducing the risk of pile deflection during installation;
Increased productivity and reduced construction time;
Reliable project execution in difficult geotechnical conditions.
Project result
The combination of the Zoomlion ZE750DH and the VIBRA FV-700 hydraulic vibrator has demonstrated outstanding performance when working with heavy reinforced concrete sheet piles on soft soils. High power, stability and reliability of the equipment made it possible to ensure uninterrupted execution of construction work and confirmed the effectiveness of the solution for large-scale projects for the construction of foundations and hydraulic structures.
