Project name: Project for the construction of a photovoltaic station according to the scheme “fish farming + solar energy” (Fishery-Solar Complementary Project)
Location: Taizhou, Jiangyan District
Equipment used: XCMG 300GP + VIBRA FV-280
Project Description
In April 2024, an XCMG 300GP pile driving rig equipped with a VIBRA FV-280 hydraulic vibrator was used to construct the pile foundation for a floating solar power plant in Jiangyan District, Taizhou.
The project used piles for photovoltaic structures with a diameter of 300 mm and a length of 9 m. The main difficulty was the geological conditions of the site, where silty and weak-bearing soils predominated, placing increased demands on the stability of the equipment and the accuracy of driving the piles.
During the work, the XCMG 300GP base machine in combination with the FV-280 vibratory pile driver ensured stable and highly accurate pile installation thanks to a centrifugal force of 335 kN. This solution made it possible to significantly increase construction productivity and effectively cope with a number of complex problems, including limited conditions for transporting equipment and difficulties in moving piles around the construction site.
Project advantages
High-precision driving of piles in silty and soft soils;
Vibrator centrifugal force up to 335 kN;
Effective work in water conditions;
Increased stability of equipment when working on soft soils;
Reducing construction time and increasing productivity;
Successful solution of logistics problems with limited transport accessibility of the facility.
Thanks to the combination of the reliable XCMG 300GP base machine and the VIBRA FV-280 hydraulic vibrator, the project was completed with high efficiency, confirming the excellent suitability of this equipment for the construction of photovoltaic sites and piling works in difficult hydrogeological conditions.
